HAMPSHIRE'S GP practice services are the best in England, say patients.
Hampshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) is congratulating all GP surgeries in the county for their services for patients.
Results from the national GP Patient Survey show that 92 per cent of Hampshire's participants were happy with being able to contact their practice so easily by phone and 90 per cent were able to see their GP within two days.
Many Hampshire GP practices have made their opening times more flexible by allowing patients to visit outside of core hours, despite 82 per cent of patients being already satisfied by their opening times.
Dr Stuart Ward, a clinical director, said: "We are delighted with the excellent results of this survey.
"They reflect the continued commitment of GPs and practice teams across Hampshire to meet the needs of patients."
The PCT will be working to make sure all practices can meet the standards and will be offering their support to them over the coming months.
