Club Alamein: Guests and members gather for the relaunch of the over 50's club at Sandringham House.
THE over 50s Club Alamein was relaunched recently with many residents going along to Sandringham House to enjoy refreshments and a variety of activities.
Manicures were provided by Michelle from Pamper Me! and foot massages by Sandie Alderman.
There was also a competition to rename the newly launched club and some interesting suggestions were received.
Jenny Stevens from the Andover Museum went along with artefacts, and Everybody Online project officer Christine Alexander was there to introduce the internet and the wonders of the worldwide web.
Access to the internet was provided by Sandringham House resident Jim Tuckwell, Silver Surfer 2006.
Doreen Thomas, lifestyle promotor for Testway Housing, was also available to talk to older members of the community.
