Pride in Hampshire Awards 2009

The local heroes we honoured at the Pride of Andover Awards 2008 were outstanding individuals. They all represented what is amazing about our Andover community… but there are more out there! Make your contribution to this special event by nominating someone you know who ‘deserves a medal’.

Esther Rantzen and Richard Cartridge will be hosting the Awards for the third year running at The Lights on Wednesday 14 October 2009 and, with your help, another fantastic evening will unfold.

Please tell us about special people in Andover who make a difference to your life or the lives of others in our community. You may have come across them at home, in the workplace, at school or college, at a club, in a shop or simply in your street. They are often people who don't seek praise or even thanks for their actions but simply enjoy helping others. They rarely think they ‘deserve a medal’.

The shortlisted nominees, together with guests, will be invited to the Awards evening at The Lights on 14 October 2009.
