Whitchurch man reported missing

A SEARCH has started for a man who has gone missing from his home in Whitchurch.

The family of Robert Dawe, 65, contacted police on the afternoon of Friday, February 8 to report him missing. He was last seen leaving his home at 10.45am that morning.

PC Kerry Lawrence said: “We are increasingly concerned for Mr Dawe’s welfare as he has a medical condition that can leave him confused. As a result, he requires medication.”

He is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, clean shaven with short, grey and black, receding hair. He wore black jeans, dark blue shirt and a dark quilted jacket.

Police said he is known to drive a grey VW Polo, registration RK05 0RF, and he likes to visit the coast.
