Natural causes verdict for care home death

A MAN who collapsed at a Basingstoke care home died of natural causes, an inquest found.
Kenneth Boden, 86, fell ill at Homefield House nursing home, in Homefield Way, Rooksdown, on December 15 last year.
The results of a post-mortem, read out at the inquest held at Alton Magistrates’ Court, found he had a heart condition and pneumonia.
Andrew Bradley, coroner for North East Hampshire, recorded a verdict of death by natural causes.
