Majority of commuters are satisfied with South West Trains

THE majority of commuters are satisfied with South West Trains, according to independent watchdog Passenger Focus.

The train company, which operates services from Basingstoke to London Waterloo, had 85 per cent of passengers rate it as “satisfactory or good”.

Only five per cent of the 2,324 people questioned by the watchdog said they were “dissatisfied” with the firm.

Some 69 per cent said they were satisfied that there was “sufficient room for all the passengers to sit or stand” but only 47 per cent said they were getting value for money.
