Dinner date in Hook for Great Ormond Street Hospital

A HOOK woman is hoping to repay a children’s hospital by holding a fundraising dinner.

Chloe Bostel, of John Morgan Close, was a frequent visitor to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London when she was younger, to have laser treatment to remove a large birthmark on her right leg.

The 23-year-old is to hold a three-course dinner for the hospital at the Elizabeth Hall, in Raven Road, Hook, on Saturday, April 6.

The event will include a champagne reception, a raffle and live music from a singer called Jen Merchant and a band called No Strings Attached.

The former Robert May’s School pupil said she hoped staff from the hospital would also come down to the event and talk about what they do.

She said: “I went to Great Ormond Street from the ages of five to 16 and as I wanted to do something for charity, I thought I would give something back to them.

“Weirdly, my times at the hospital are some of my fondest memories.”

The evening will start at 7pm and last until 11.30pm. Tickets cost £30. To buy one, visit front-row-events.co.uk.
