Tools stolen from cars in South Ham

CAR windows were smashed and doors forced open when thieves broke in and stole various tools from vehicles parked in South Ham.

Police are reminding motorists to secure their vehicles and not leave valuables inside following the thefts in Sandys Road, Bolton Crescent and South Ham Road overnight between March 7 and 8. The offenders stole a Makita and Dewalt drill sets, hammers, screwdrivers, chisels and other valuable power tools.

PC Craig Bannerman said: “Three men were seen in the Bolton Crescent area in the early hours of Friday, March 8. Did you see anything? Do you know who these men are?

“It is also believed that a dark-coloured car was seen in the area at the time. If you know anything about these incidents, please contact me.”
