A DYNAMIC duo will be piling on the pedal power for three challenging charity cycle rides this year.

Psychic medium Stewart Keeys and forklift operator Spencer Phillips will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation and St Michael’s Hospice, in Aldermaston Road.

The pair, both fathers-of-two, will take on the London to Reading ride on March 24, the London to Brighton ride in June and the Basingstoke Big Wheel.

Spencer, of Greenwood Drive, said: “I’ve known Stewart for many years and we were both keen to take part and raise some money for charity.

“We have been training, but maybe not as much as we should have been. At the moment, we are just trying to raise as much money as possible.

“I’ve raised around £150 so far and Stewart has raised more than £100.

“We will be donating all the money from the first two rides to the British Heart Foundation and money from the last ride – the Big Wheel event – to St Michael’s Hospice.”

The 40-year-old is taking on the charity rides in memory of his grandmother, who passed away last November.

Stewart, 37, from Beggarwood, Basingstoke, often performs in Central Studio, Queen Mary's College, and has done readings for several celebrities.
