Public warned not to approach Daniel Rosenthal, who has paranoid schizophrenia
A PARANOID schizophrenic, who has been convicted of murder, is on the loose in Hampshire.
Daniel Rosenthal went missing from Tatchbury Mount Hospital, in Totton at around 2.30pm yesterday after going for a routine, unsupervised walk around the hospital gardens.
The 58-year-old is described as having a local accent, with short greying brown hair with a ‘basin style’ fringe.
He is five foot, two inches tall and wears glasses with a metal rim. He walks with a hunch and was last seen wearing ‘closed in’ sandals, light brown cord trousers and a long-sleeved cream-coloured shirt with buttons down the front.
Police have carried out initial searches in the hospital, the hospital grounds and the surrounding areas. Other enquiries are progressing.
Daniel has been known to visit various areas of the New Forest and Southampton.
Police are warning members of the public not to approach the man and to report any sightings of him by calling 999.
