AN INQUEST into the deaths of two men who died in a helicopter crash in northern Russia has been opened and adjourned.
Rupert Beaumont, pictured, and Mark Robertson, both 69, died on the Kola Peninsula, on Sunday, July 21, when their helicopter, chartered for a luxury salmon fishing trip, banked and tipped over on take-off.
Mr Beaumont, a former City lawyer and father-of-two, lived in West Green Road, West Green, near Hartley Wintney, while his friend Mr Robertson, treasurer of the Heckfield with Mattingley and Rother-wick Parochial Church Council, lived in Reading Road, Mattingley.
Their interpreter Alexander Tushnikov also died in the crash.
