Whitchurch fete raises more than £1,000 for church upkeep
BRIC-A-BRAC, clothes and cream teas were some of the items available at a church fete in Whitchurch.
The St John Fisher Church, in Bell Street, held its annual fundraiser in its grounds, with stalls for people to browse and games for children to play.
The items on sale were donated by churchgoers and there was also a raffle and tombola.
Organiser Lil White said the £1,537 raised on the day will go towards the upkeep of the Catholic church, which is part of the Andover parish.
Last year, the church used money from the fete to buy a ciborium.
