Police dealt with 45 incidents in Overton in September
THE police dealt with 45 incidents in the Overton area during September.
These included 10 suspicious incidents, nine reports of anti-social behaviour and five road traffic incidents.
There were also nine reports of crime, which represents the beat’s lowest amount of crime for September since 2005.
Reports included a Land Rover Defender stolen from the train station overflow car park, four outbuildings broken into, a trailer stolen from a farm and a birdbath taken from outside a home in Pond Close.
Police officers will be offering crime prevention advice to the community by knocking on the doors of people who have left valuables on display.
