THE British Red Cross and Age Concern are joining forces to support older people in Hampshire, enabling them to remain independent in their homes.
Both organisations will work together to deliver services across the county, including community support for people with long-term conditions, services for frail older people and prevention of falls and reduction of unnecessary admissions to hospital.
Rick Smith, chief executive of Age Concern Hampshire, said: “We hope that the partnership will provide local people with the best levels of support from both of our charities, ensuring that no-one feels alone.”
