LAST week The Gazette reported how a Basingstoke television production company helped a teenage cancer sufferer make a documentary.
Yesterday, Stephen Sutton’s family announced that the 19-year-old had lost his battle with cancer.
Stephen, from Staffordshire, had a dream to share his inspirational story with thousands.
His video, made by Chineham company, Mediakinetic, was posted on YouTube before his death and has already had 476,000 hits.
Lindsay Barker, managing director of the Mediakinetic, said: “We feel privileged and humbled to have been involved in helping to tell Stehen’s story in some small way. It was Stephen’s wish that as many people as possible share his film.
“His message is to live life to its fullest and take nothing for granted. Please take a few life-changing moments to watch his story, When life gives you cancer, and share it with others.”
