A TEAM of students from BCoT have produced a music video for a band due to appear at Basingstoke Live on Sunday.

A group of students, along with the help of BCoT Creative Media lecturer, Scott Hayden, have produced a music video for the band – the Redtails.

The band, which blends a mix of pop, dance and hip hop, are set to appear on the main stage at Basingstoke Festival at 3.55pm on Sunday.

Lead singer Collete Francis-Lee, who is a former BCoT student, first contacted Scott to enlist his help in creating a video for their first single Brighter Place in 2013.

The latest video for their new single Setting Sun, which was released today, was filmed in early July at the Proteus Creation Space, in Council Road, Basingstoke.

Scott said: “We have been following the band’s success since we worked with them so it was a real pleasure to be asked to work with them again.

“As before, I was able to take some students with me to gain really valuable experience. We had a small team of BCoT learners working on filming, make-up and photography during the shoot.”
