A BASINGSTOKE housing association has launched a special grant fund for groups in their communities.
Sentinel Housing Association, in Kingsclere Road, launched its “making it happen” fund, which offers financial help and support to groups who want to deliver activities.
The £40,000 fund is open to applications from charities, community groups and voluntary organisations but it must benefit Sentinel customers, either directly or indirectly.
Groups will be able to apply for a maximum of £10,000 per project and the closing date for applications is Monday, August 31.
Sarah Smith, Sentinel’s community investment manager, said: “We’re really excited about launching our making it happen fund.
“We’re looking forward to hearing from lots of different charities, community groups and voluntary organisations that could benefit from a cash boost of up to £10,000.”
