Campaign to Protect Rural England to hold conference
THE Hampshire branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England is to hold a conference to inspire rural communities to help themselves by looking at how others are delivering services despite economic cutbacks.
The Communities in Action conference will take place at the Wessex Conference Centre, at Sparsholt College on October 9 and it aims to share ideas on how rural communities can deliver services and protect their facilities in the future.
The meeting, which starts at 9.15am and ends at 1pm, costs £15 per person to attend.
The closing date for applications is Wednesday, September 16.
