A CHILDREN’S hospice has been presented with a cheque for £12,400.
Naomi House and Jacksplace Hospice, in Sutton Scotney, received the funds from Miller Homes Southern, following a fundraising event.
The house builder organised an evening ball at Sandford Springs Golf Club, in Kingsclere, where money was raised through an auction of VIP days out and a raffle.
Tracey Lee, sales and marketing director for Miller Homes, presented the cheque to Charlotte Otter, new business development fundraiser for the hospice.
Tracey said: “It’s wonderful to be able to give something back to the local community. Naomi House and Jacksplace bring a lot of comfort to people when they need it most.”
The charity is set to revamp some of its 20 high street shops at a cost of £10,000 each.
