PEOPLE in Basingstoke will be able to hear about the latest work to find a cure for diabetes at a meeting on Tuesday.
Richard Elliott, a research communications officer at Diabetes UK, will explain how the charity’s research into diabetes and diabetes-related complications leads to a better understanding of the causes of the condition and helps with breakthroughs in care, treatment and prevention.
The talk will take place at the newly-established Basingstoke Diabetes UK group which will meet at the Viables Community Centre, in The Harrow Way from 7.30pm.
