POLICE have launched an investigation after a 38-year-old man died following a serious crash in Basingstoke.
The collision happened between a Ford Transit van and a lorry on the junction between the A30 and A33 at around 4.10pm on Thursday 29 September.
The 38-year-old driver of the Ford Transit van was taken to Southampton General Hospital following the crash.
However the man, from Gosport, died a day later from his injuries.
His passenger, a 30-year-old man from Gosport, remains in hospital with serious but non life-threatening injures.
The three people in the lorry were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
No-one else was hurt.
Police have now launched an investigation into the crash, named Operation Course.
