HAVING completed a successful run of shows at the Haymarket theatre, there is even more celebrating to be done by cast members of the Basingstoke Gang Show.

The show ran until February 17 and at each show the cast and organisers were collecting money to be donated to Muffin’s Dream Foundation.

After the final performance the Gang Show, managed to raise more than £1,500 for the charity which offers support and activities for children with a life-long or life- limiting disability or illness.

Cast members presented a trustee of the charity with a cheque at their wrap party, which took place on Saturday, 3 March.

Funds raised by the gang will go towards Muffin’s Dream Foundation 2018 Christmas party.

Muffin’s Dream Foundation trustee Rob Herneman said: “Planning and preparation for our Christmas party always begins in January, every year we seek ways of funding this event so as to ensure each family who attends has a fantastic time.

“We have never before secured the funding for the party this early in the year, and that is down to Basingstoke Gang Show and all their efforts.

“Their show was fantastic, and the entire cast and crew should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved

for Muffin’s Dream Foundation.”
