GARDENERS will soon have the chance to own a bit of history as the opportunity to buy plants that were used in the 30th anniversary of popular gardening TV show Countryfile’s show garden.
Plants that were used in the display at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show will be going on sale at Hook’s Hortus Loci on Saturday.
The garden was designed by celebrity designer and TV presenter Ann-Marie Powell, who will be on hand on the day to take the green-fingered through the plants that are on offer and which ones were used where and to answer questions.
The garden was unveiled on TV by Countryfile presenter Ellie Harrison and it aimed to inspire people to reconnect with nature and make their own outdoor spaces more wildlife friendly.
The plants were all sourced and supplied by the experts at Hortus Loci, who spent nine months working with Ann-Marie Powell to ensure the garden was a show-stopper.
With the show now over, the plants have been returned and can be bought at a discount by members of the public.
