A CARE home in Bramley has held a day of community fun.
Cherry Blossom Manor, in German Road, brought together family and friends of residents to get the feeling of a seaside trip during an open day.
Guests were able to walk on a temporary sandy beach in the courtyard around the home, and there was also a pool of saltwater.
The sound of waves and seagulls accompanied the taste of fish and chips and ice cream provided by the hospitality team. There was also musical entertainment.
General manager at the home, Gigi Despojo, said: “It was great that so many people came along to celebrate our open day with us, and the entertainment was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
“Cherry Blossom staff and residents love a good celebration but it’s always extra special when the local community get involved too.”
