A MAN was left lying in the road after he was injured in a hit and run collision in Tadley.
The 22-year-old man was walking in Franklin Avenue when he was hit by a dark coloured Vauxhall Vectra at 7.25pm on Thursday, July 2.
He was taken to Basingstoke hospital, where he received treatment for injuries to his legs and bruising to his body.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
PC Glen Willis, from the Basingstoke Rural Targeted Patrol Team, said: "This could have been a potentially serious collision and resulted in the death of this man."

*A 23-year-old man from Tadley has been arrested and bailed in connection with this incident.
