RODDY and Lola are a pretty pair of lovebirds in need of a new home.
The feathered duo are quite noisy and can be a little messy with their food and water, but are fun to watch and would be happy in an aviary with other lovebirds or cockatiels or in a cage with some wood to peck.
They like nibbling on a range of different foods, and full care and dietary advice will be given upon adoption.
STARescue currently has a large number of ferrets in need of homes in pairs and a lot of cats, and anyone able to give Roddy and Lola, or any other pet, a suitable home can call the animal charity on 01256 330532, and leave their name and telephone number, speaking loudly and clearly.
The charity is still running a free neutering scheme for cats and half-price neutering for other pets. To find out more, call the charity by next Tuesday.
Donations of fluffy toy animals in all sizes are welcome to help raise funds for the charity over the summer.
