Crash victim still in serious condition

A DRIVER from Tadley left fighting for his life after a car crash last week was still in a serious condition in hospital yesterday.
The 26-year-old was rushed to Southampton General Hospital's neurological intensive care unit with head injuries last Tuesday, after his black Vauxhall Vectra left the road and collided with a tree beside the A340 near Pamber End.
It is believed the car, which was heading northbound, had completed an overtaking manoeuvre shortly before the accident at about 11.30pm.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, or saw the car beforehand, is asked to contact Farnborough roads policing unit, quoting Operation Tipner, on 0845 045 4545 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
