SILKY tricks and skills were on display at a char-ity football tournament.

Staff at AXA and Winterthur Wealth Management laced up their boots to raise money for Naomi House Children's Hospice.

The company, based in Winterthur Way, Basingstoke, has chosen the hospice, which provides care for the families of children with life-limiting illnesses, as its designated charity.

Sixteen mixed teams turned out for the event in the company's tennis court and, in doing so, managed to raise £450.

The winners were Bad Girls, who won a thrilling final 3-2 against Be Nice We've Got Girls Albion.

Neil Robinson, captain of the winning team, said: "I'm delighted with our success. All 16 teams played really well and we had great fun.

"The real goal was to raise money and we're pleased to donate £450 to Naomi House Children's Hospice."
