Pre-school closes due to falling numbers

First published in Romsey

A pre-school has been forced to close due to falling numbers.

Romsey Community Pre-school, based at the Romsey School, has shut down after 24 years.

“This was an extremely hard decision for all involved, but due to low numbers and lack of finances, we could not have carried on running,” said pre-school deputy, Stephanie Long.

Speaking on behalf of staff, Stephanie, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you for all the support received, not only recently but over the years. We, as staff, have thoroughly enjoyed our time at the pre-school, watching children grow from toddlers to fine young people.”
