SECTIONS of a busy motorway will be closed next week as planned roadworks continue.
Overnight closures between 10pm and 6am will be in force for several nights at junction three of the M27 at Nursling.
The northern section of the junction roundabout will be closed as well as the M271 southbound approach to the junction roundabout from today. The eastbound exit slip road will also be closed from Monday for ten nights.
Diversions will be in place via the A326 and the A35, or junctions 2 or 5 of the M27.
Carriageway closures will be in place on two nights this week between junctions two and three on the M27 on two days this week as waterproofing works continue near the River Blackwater at Ower.
Junction 3 to 2 westbound will be closed on Wednesday while junction 2 to 3 eastbound is closed on Thursday between 10pm and 6am.
A diversion will be in place via the A326 and A35. Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit remains on the section.
