Police have made fresh appeal for a brawl in Romsey during which a man is alleged to have received serious injuries.

The fight, involving a number of people, outside the Co-op in The Hundred between 8.35pm and 8.45pm on Sunday, April 5.

A 26-year-old man from Romsey was later treated in hospital for serious head and face injuries.

β€œIt is known that a significant number of people in the area at the time of the fight are potential witnesses who have not come forward yet,” said a police spokesman.

Two men, aged 20 and 21, both from Romsey were arrested and questioned on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and were later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
