METRONOMY, Lady Leshurr and Sundara Karma will play Blissfields in 2017.

The 5,000 capacity award-winning Hampshire festival has announced its first musical guests for its Bizarre themed outing in July.

The Japanese House, S4U, and BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Sian Anderson are also on the bill for the independent festival, with over 100 acts still to be unveiled.

Also new and confirmed for 2017 is free hot air balloon rides and a Victorian funfair.

Following the release of their second consecutive top-20 album, 2016’s hugely acclaimed Summer 08, Metronomy have well and truly cemented themselves as crossover electronic pop royalty, and one of the most exciting new wave groups of a generation.

They head the pack for Blissfields’ monumental 2017 gathering that will see some of the biggest emerging talent and household names come together for an intimate gathering from July 6-8 in rural Hampshire.

Fans will also be welcoming ‘Queens Speech’ freestyler Lady Leshurr to the main stage, as well as BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Sian Anderson who will headline The Blisscotheque – a double decker Routemaster kitted out for the ride of your summer!

There’s a return this year for festival favourites Dub Pistols, as well as Sundara Karma whose debut album Youth Is Only Ever Fun in Retrospect was released to critical acclaim.
