Helicopter called out to police chase
Two men have been arrested after a chase involving the police helicopter.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on the M271 shortly before 10.30pm on Thursday, but it drove off, including through Romsey.
The vehicle was later stopped by officers on the A27 at Chilworth as it approached motorway slip road, heading in the wrong direction.
A 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: "The incident has been referred to the IPCC, as is normal procedure in these cases."
