A PAIR of Test Valley girls have joined forces to raise cash for charity.
Friends Jade Griscti and Elena Bessey from Whiteparish, who are both Year 8 students at the Trafalgar School at Downton, had a massive 12 inches cut off their hair in aid of the little princess trust, which provides real hair wigs for children suffering from cancer and hair loss.
The pair had been growing their long locks for more than a year in order to give the maximum amount of hair. Roger and Cris of Philola in Salisbury kindly carried out the unusual double haircut free of charge, and made certain that the girls came away with amazing new styles.
The girls initially set out to raise £200, but have so far achieved an incredible £495. They are very grateful to everyone who has so generously supported them.
