ROMSEY has woken up covered in snow today.
The Met Office warning of yellow for snow and ice is continuing into Sunday, with forecasts estimating a starting time of around 9pm on Saturday to begin.
A number of events are places around the area have fallen victim to the blanket of snow.
Paultons Park will remain closed until Friday due to icy and dangerous conditions around the entire park area.
Romsey Choral Society has also had to call off its concert in the Chapel of St Cross in Winchester on Sunday night.
Temperatures are predicted to enter into the minus, with a high of 2 degrees in some places.
Eastleigh 10k has been postponed due to the forecasts, with the Met Office saying the snowfall could prove disruptive.
Hampshire County Council will continue to grit roads as it prepares for a second bout of heavy snow this month.
The council is warning residents to only travel if absolutely essential.
The warning comes two weeks after the Beast from the East.
