RESIDENTS are invited to check their blood pressure.

The Stroke Association will be at ASDA in Chandler's Ford on April 14 to support residents and check their blood pressure.

Liam Stapleton, the 53-year-old stroke survivor from Chandler's Ford will also be in attendance.

He will tell residents about his experience and how he started running marathons only few months after a stoke left him unable to speak and move the right side of his body in 2014.

The former Toynbee School teacher will also raise money for the London Virgin Marathon that he is set to run next month in support of the Stroke Association.

He will be at the supermarket from 8am to 8pm.
