A BRAND new community tennis scheme has been launched in Romsey.
Tennis for Kids is coming to Romsey and Abbey Tennis Club, with the Lawn Tennis Association launching the initiative this month.
The scheme is aimed at getting children more interested in sport as the British tennis season gets underway ahead of Queens and Wimbledon.
The subsidised courses are suitable for children aged four to 11.
Tennis for Kids say that the coaching will take place in a fun and friendly environment.
The scheme itself has been developed by experts at the Lawn Tennis Association.
It has been launched from the end of April, starting on the 23rd, at Romsey Sports Centre, near to the Rapids.
For more information on the start dates and times for the courses, visit clubspark.lta.org.uk/TennisForKids/At/RomseyTennis.
The children will be taught by coaches Mihaly Bukur and Veronica Broughton-Shaw.
