Public meeting in Sutton Scotney on wind farm plan
CAMPAIGNERS fighting plans for a controversial wind farm north of Winchester are hosting a public meeting in Sutton Scotney this Saturday. (Jan 12)
Douglas Paterson, chairman of Keep Hampshire Green, is presenting a slide show on the proposed 14 wind turbines at Bullington Cross and wind energy in general.
The meeting will be in Victoria Hall, starting at 5pm.
Mr Paterson, a local farmer, said: “The idea is to give people the facts so they can form an opinion.”

The other strange thing is that our gas prices keep going up in the UK, whilst they are falling elsewhere, like in the USA. Can't be because we are loaded with "green taxes", could it?
Ah yes, another of those "green" projects that are not really that green. They are also not that efficient. Another blot on the landscape!
