Charity 'spinathon' raises more than £500

A CHARITY keep-fit ‘spinathon’ has raised more than £500 last Saturday (Jan25).

Members of staff from Heads Resourcing Group and sister company Procurement Heads, Winchester recruitment businesses made the money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The four-hour team event took place at River Park Leisure Centre.

Participants donated £5 for a space on each class, and Macmillan area manager Katie Blake even made an appearance to help make sure there was no let-up in momentum.

HR Heads marketing specialist Emma Dennis, who also leads two weekly spin classes at the leisure centre, even conducted her usual Saturday morning class that day before supervising the four hour trial.

The staff at River Park Leisure Centre, including Vicky Jones, Lorna Curtis, Gill Allen, Charlie Young and General Manager Sarah Morgan also helped make the experience a resounding success.

Since April last year HR Heads and Procurement Heads, led by MD and founder Jennifer Gaster, has raised over £3,300 for their charity partners Macmillan.
