THREE people have been arrested following a drugs raid in Winchester.
A warrant was issued and police swooped on a flat in Winnall Manor Road, Winnall, on January 31.
Officers arrested a 25-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both from Winchester, and a 28-year-old man from Beaminster, Dorset.
They were arrested on suspicion of supplying of Class A drugs. They have all been bailed until May 2, pending further inquiries.
It follows an investigation into the supply of illegal drugs as part of the Operation Fortress campaign.
Operation Fortress is a campaign from police and other agencies to reduce the harm of drug-related violence.
One of the aims is to restrict the supply of class A drugs and officers are keen to hear from anyone who is concerned about illegal drugs or drug-related crime in their neighbourhood.
The ask residents to look out for a sudden increase in visitors to a house, or people only staying for a very short time, short exchanges between small groups of people close to a home, or residents leaving a flat or house on numerous occasions throughout the day and returning a short time later. They also say new-looking or hire cars parked outside a house that wouldn’t normally be there could be sign of illegal activity.
