A FORMER children’s day care centre near Winchester is set to go under the auctioneer’s hammer for up to £550,000 this month.
The Coach House at Mills Lane, Abbots Worthy, was originally part of Abbots Worthy House and comes with outbuildings on 1.1 acres of land, including an outdoor swimming pool, pool house and walled garden.
The two-bedroom freehold property is among 19 lots being sold by Clive Emson, the regional land and property auctioneers.
Auctioneer Rob Marchant said: “There is potential to develop the outbuildings, perhaps as a residence, subject to planning permission, and we anticipate keen interest because of the size of the plot.”
The sale will be held at The Ageas Bowl, West End, near Southampton, at 11am on March 26.
