POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses after a house was burgled in North Boarhunt.
The incident took place at a large house during March 10 between 2.30-5.15pm while the homeowner, a 44-year-old woman, was out.
They smashed a window to get in before taking £6,000 worth of jewellery.
Among the items were two gold bangles, one of which was worth £1,240 and the other worth £1,480.
Police are now calling for anyone with information to come forward by calling 101.
