RUNNERS near Winchester are preparing for a ten kilometre charity race.
This year’s Ropley 10k Road Race, which is expecting to see up to 400 entrants, will see both fun and serious runners take part - all in aid of supporting the village’s facilities and school.
Starting from St Peter’s Church in the heart of Ropley, the route takes in the local countryside, and is sure to test participant’s stamina.
It also includes chip timing, free t-shirts for pre-entrants, fruit and bottled water at the end, a three kilometre course for nine to 14 year olds, and 100 and 500 metre dashes for younger children.
To sign up or for the race on May 25 or for more information visit ropley10k.co.uk.
