POLICE are urging Hampshire residents to keep their property safe this summer.
It comes after an investigation into the theft of a mobile phone from a house in Vicarage Lane, in Ropley.
The owner was in his garage at 1pm on Wednesday, July 16, leaving his front door open, when his Nokia phone was stolen.
Anyone with information about this incident should contact PC Andrew Ferguson at Winchester police station by calling 101.
