POLICE have released an e-fit of a man they wish to speak to following an attempted burglary in Winchester.

The man is wanted in connection with the incident, which happened on Friday, July 18, at around 2.45pm at Lanham Lane.

Police are also investigating if this incident is linked to seven other burglary reports in the city over the last month.

They believe access was attempted at the rear of the bungalow but the burglar did not get inside and nothing was taken.

A neighbour reported seeing a man acting suspiciously in the area at the time.

He is described as white, around 20-years-old, 5ft 9 of a slight build with short brown hair. He was wearing heavy grey jogging bottoms, a light khaki t-shirt and a dark coloured bomber jacket.

The man was also carrying a bag.
