Winchester MP Steve Brine visited Micheldever Church of England Primary School last week, where he chatted with staff, met the student council and dropped in on classroom lessons.
He then talked to parents in the playground at pupil pick-up about the school, as well as possible future changes to maternity services at Winchester Hospital.
"The leadership at the school is fantastic, and it was great to be able to speak to so many children and staff," he said.
“It was good to see how they have made such smart use of what is a very small site and also great to hear about the strong Christian ethos and close links with the village church, which is right opposite the school."
