A STUDENT was robbed in Winchester as he was listening to his music.
The 19-year-old was walking along Romsey Road just before 1am on Wednesday, December 10, when two men ran up to him near St James’s Tavern.
He was assaulted before falling to the floor. The took his iPod and earphones – worth approximately £55 – and ran off when a car approached.
One of the thieves has been described as wearing a navy zip-up hooded jacket and navy tracksuit sports trousers.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time.
In particular they would like to hear from taxi drivers who may have been driving around the Romsey Road area or anyone who saw two men running from the scene.
