A MODEL of Victorian Winchester built by a former planning chief is on display at an historic landmark.
Built by Roger Brown after he retired as chief planning officer at Hampshire County Council, it represents the city as it would have looked in 1870.
Mr Brown, who was in his 90s, died earlier this year without his wish of seeing the model in a permanent home fulfilled.
It took nine years to craft and measures 15ft wide. Although originally intended to form the basis of a display, that plan was never completed.
The model was displayed in the Great Hall last year and is there again until August 24.
Opening hours are 10am-5pm.
