POLICE are warning motorists to be vigilant after a spate of thefts from vehicles in Winchester.
Cars were ransacked in Hyde, Winnall and Highcliffe last week, with some left unlocked.
One vehicle was in a driveway while others were in a car park and on a road.
A force spokesman said: "Please bear in mind vehicle security, and make sure your vehicle is left secure and personal belongings are out of sight."
