IT WAS all glitz and glamour at a Hampshire stately home as thousands of pounds were raised for a worthy cause.

As part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, Alresford's Moda Rosa boutique put on a charity fashion show at The Grange - the first to ever be held there.

Joined by star names, including ITV and BBC newsreaders Sally Taylor and Alistair Stewart, a target was set of raising £30,000 for The Wessex Haven.

The breast cancer support centre, which is based in Titchfield, looks after women, men and their families following a cancer diagnosis.

They offer exercise classes, supportive therapy and counselling to help people cope with the exhausting effects of the chemotherapy treatment.

Dubbed Hampshire's most exclusive designer boutique, Moda Rosa can boasts many famous customers, notably providing outfits for the Duchess of Cambridge, then Kate Middleton, and several members of her family for The Royal Wedding.

Unable to hide her excitement, owner Rosie Wild said: "Our main goal tonight is to raise as much money as we can. All the proceeds and much more will go to Wessex Haven.

"Our target is £30,000, but I know we can do so much more!."
